While that might sound complicated at first, it is actually very straightforward once you understand the route. Most visitors travel via northern Greece, combining a flight with a short drive and ferry.

Where Is Thassos?

Thassos is located in northern Greece, close to the mainland near Kavala. Because of this, it is one of the easiest Greek islands to reach, especially compared to more remote destinations.

The island is connected to the mainland by regular ferry services, making access simple once you arrive in the area.
